Fish with Basil
Ingredients:
- 12 oz of fish
- 4 tbsp. of flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 minced green onion
- lemon juice from one slice
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 tsp. minced fresh basil
- salt to taste
Directions:
- Combine eggs and milk
- Soften butter
- Fold in onion, lemon juice, garlic and basil
- Dredge fish in flour then dip in egg mixture
- Place in shallow baking pan skin side down
- Top fish with basil, butter and seasoning or plain salt
- Bake uncovered in 400 oven for 7-10 minutes or until fish is firm
